What you will do:

We’re looking for a dynamic creative producer and social media executive to support our Bar & Studios management teams in bringing Strongroom into a new era on social, through implementing a brand new, future facing strategy across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about and familiar with the music industry; and should be comfortable engaging with music industry professionals, and artists ranging from breakthrough to established icons.

We’d love someone who can concept and create engaging content to share on our social channels, both in line with our content pillars, and reactively. Not only should this person be great at making content, but they should be a dab hand at scheduling, community management, and reporting month to month.

This role will initially be part-time freelance, requiring the successful candidate to be on-site 2-3 days a week. We’re looking for someone who will grow with the role, eventually, we envision this role becoming full-time, contingent on the success of our social channels.

 

  • Developing creative ideas for the Studios and Bar Instagram, TikTok & Facebook accounts, in line with our newly developed social strategy
  • Producing said content for our social channels
  • Scheduling content across our channels
  • Where necessary, working with freelancers to produce content
  • Identifying and outreaching to relevant content creators across all relevant social channels
  • Identifying brand partnership opportunities
  • Taking ownership of active community outreach and engagement, in-line with the Strongroom TOV
  • Assisting with implementing paid strategy where needed

What we look for:

Required:

  • Good knowledge of key social platforms: Instagram, TikTok & Facebook
  • In-depth knowledge of the music industry and culture
  • Proficiency in capturing content for social using a mobile phone
  • Proficiency in basic video editing using native app tools e.g. cutting, syncing
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to adapt writing for specific tone of voice
  • Familiarity with social scheduling and management tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite/Google Workspace
  • Proficiency with Photoshop (or equivalent)
  • Able to jump in and support a close-knit team when and where needed
  • Excellent time management
  • A keen eye for the finer details

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with Premier Pro, InDesign, and/or After Effects (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Meta and TikTok Ads
  • Experience with putting together a content shoot working with external freelancers
  • Experience working with music industry professionals (e.g. artist managers, producers, engineers), and artists
