Team & Community

We work with engineers and assistants who have the skills and experience to get the best from every studio and our in-house technicians keep the equipment in pristine condition. For our bookings staff, the mantra is “nothing is too much trouble”.

In addition to our four bookable studios, Strongroom is home to a thriving community of record producers, songwriters, managers, labels, publishers and production companies. At the heart of all this is the iconic Strongroom Bar, rounding off the welcoming, musical atmosphere that Strongroom is renowned for worldwide.

drew BANG is an award winning Engineer and Producer, with over 10yrs Experience working with clients such as Kelis, U2, Royal Blood, Haim, Slaves, Don Broco and more. Starting out at Strongroom as a runner, drew worked his way up to in-house Engineer for Studio 1, before going freelance to concentrate on Production.

    Studio Team
    Jess is an engineer and producer based in London. Coming into the industry in 2018, she cut her teeth right here at Strongroom studios, where she has engineered for MIA, Joe Jonas, Mahalia and many others. She now freelances across the city, working closely with Eliza Oakes, Naima Adams and other emerging talents within the genre bending London music scene.

        Adele trained and assisted at Angelic Residential Studios, gaining credits on Harry Styles ‘Harry’s House’, Fontaines DC ‘Skinty Fia’, and Kojey Radical ‘Reason To Smile’. Since becoming freelance, Adele has worked as an assistant engineer at RAK Studios, Snap Studios, Metropolis Studios and engineers for producer Dan Carey.             Studio Team
            Fia is an engineer and producer who joined the Strongroom team in 2017. Her recent credits include Basement Jaxx, Marla Kether & Blue Lab Beats, and the Women In Jazz compilation album where she worked with a diverse range of artists. She co-produced the soundtrack for the award-winning BBC podcast "28ish days later" with long term collaborator, Rebekah Reid.

              George Lloyd-Owen
              Studio Team
              George is a lifelong cellist turned recording engineer, trained at Abbey Road Institute, the Royal College of Music and AIR Studios. They have worked on major film and TV projects including Nosferatu and Wicked, and as a freelancer have collaborated with artists such as The Last Dinner Party and Jessie Ware. George is a core member of the Strongroom team, as well as an artist and multi-instrumentalist who has performed with acts including Kate Nash.

                Erin Brajou
                Runner
                Erin joined Strongroom as a runner after recently moving to London. She entered the industry through a sound engineering course as Snap Studios, where she started developing her skills as an assistant engineer. Since then, she has been learning and gaining experience while supporting studio sessions at Strongroom.

                An electrical engineer and Tonmeister, Michele found in tech a connection between his love for music and electronics. Originally from Florence, Michele has a long experience in audio electronics, working on gear since he can remember.

                Honza is a Czech audio engineer with a passion for all things tech. He first came to the UK to study, having completed a Masters degree in Advanced Music Technology from the London College of Music. Since then, Honza has worked on a multitude of freelance tech and audio engineering projects including vintage studio restorations and installs, as well as building and running a studio of his own.

                Noelia is a musician and vocalist hailing from Barcelona. After moving to the UK, they contributed their voice to a Samsung Ad, graced the stage at Gaudi's Casa Batlló, and showcased their skills at Ten87 studios. Now at Strongroom ready for new knowledge.
