Strongroom’s technical team know every wire, plug and socket in the complex, so sessions are underway in no time.
And Strongroom’s close working relationship with manufacturers, distributors and dealers means that the team are always first in the know when important developments take place.
If it’s needed, Strongroom will get it first. Regular maintenance schedules are in place for all the studios, ensuring that equipment is in top condition at all times and that any faults, however small, are dealt with promptly.
Our staff are involved in session set-ups right from the start, liaising with producers and engineers to ensure that your session goes exactly to plan.
PRO TOOLS
Strongroom prides itself on being at the forefront of technology and was an early adopter in the use of Pro Tools. Pro Tools systems are now the mainstay of most music production within Strongroom, in many cases replacing the analogue multi-track machine entirely.
DIGIDELIVERY
Digidesign’s DigiDelivery allows exchange of any kind of digital file of virtually any size with anyone in the world and installs easily on your existing network, cable modem or DSL modem. Simply drag and drop files to send a delivery, or click a link in an email to receive a delivery — no need for recipients to enter IP addresses, usernames or passwords.

As Europe’s most successful independent music studios Strongroom has been at the forefront of surround production since the format’s inception. World-class engineering talent combined with an unprecedented investment in 5.1 studio technology has created a facility with an enviable track record.
DVD Production
Since 1994 Strongroom has invested heavily in building 5.1 equipped mixing and encoding rooms for DVD production. This foresight has resulted in a team of highly experienced producers, engineers and technical staff able to cope with the exacting standards of the DVD format, and make the most of its creative potential.
Whilst continuing to develop our DVD services for the music industry, Strongroom’s facilities and technical expertise have expanded to cater for all aspects of DVD production for the film, television and corporate sectors. Our services include:

ANALOGUE RECORDING
Drawing on years of experience, Strongroom and its technical team have an unrivalled knowledge of analogue recording techniques and the equipment involved.
Each of our studios have the following resources available:
Studer 24-track 2″ tape machines, A800 MkIII, MkI and for the ultimate 2-track 1/2″ master Ampex ATR100′s.
We also own a range of classic mics and vintage outboard that we have collected and kept in top condition throughout our history.
To accompany all this analogue equipment Strongroom has always continued to invest in the latest technlogies and we are constantly looking at ways we can combine analogue recording techniques with the latest Pro Tools developments.
SOHONET
Sohonet fibre optical connections are installed at both our AIR and Strongroom facilities, allowing direct high-speed connection between sites and to other facilities throughout the UK, Europe and the US.
Sohonet offers massively increased internet upload and download speeds, allowing seamless data transit to any location worldwide using FTP or our more secure Digidelivery server.
