Getting people to come to the Strongroom Bar has never been difficult, but a lunchtime performance by Brille Records’ rabble-rousers Operator Please ensured a good turnout from industry folks and in-the-know fans.
One audience member who knew all the words to ‘Just A Song About Ping Pong’ was Strongroom assistant Tom Bailey, who assisted engineer Simon Gogerly when he mixed the single in Studio 3 earlier this year. Sadly his offer to help out with the backing vocals was quickly dismissed by the band.
