Strongroom 4 Refurbished
Following a ‘ground-up’ refurbishment, Strongroom Studio 4 is now better equipped than ever to handle a range of applications, from vocals and overdubs to 5.1 mixing to picture.
The room, which has always been popular with both artists and producers due to its layout and wealth of natural light, has been completely re-wired and much of the equipment upgraded. The Mackie console has been replaced by the new Midas Venice, acclaimed for its versatility and the quality of its components; stereo and 5.1 monitoring is handled by Genelec with an Audient controller and the Pro Tools system is a powerful HD3 Accel with Mojo video I/O and 16-fader ProControl, and features the enormous range of plug ins standard on all Strongroom and Strong Hire systems.
Commenting on the improvements, Studio Manager Phil Sisson said “The reaction we’ve had to the room since its overhaul has been fantastic. We’ve had everything from writing sessions to huge multi-track feature film mixes and in every case clients have loved working in the room and the affordable rate means they can take as long as they need to get the job done.”
