Loop TV - Frontline Producer series

LoopTV & Strongroom are proud to present part 1 of the new ‘Frontline Producer Series’ with industry veteran Laurance Traverso.

Genoa born musician, producer and arranger Laurance Traverso has built a reputation for creating driving melodies and contagious hooks, and efficient project turn around under high pressure.

His clients have included Sony BMG, Sanctuary Castle, Jack Morton (The Commonwealth Games), The prague Philharmonic, while working alongside talents such as Ray Staff and Clif Norrel (REM, Jeff Buckley, Sting and Faith No More).

He will be looking at his workflow and production methods as he rises to the challenge to prepare a new pop music project to pitch to a record company…in just 48 hrs!

The series follows his progress over the 48 hr window as we see his song bloom from humble beginnings into a polished project. He covers everything from initial song conception, audio tracking, arrangement, vocal production, studio etiquette to final mixdown! You can check out the first of the series here.

Along the way Laurance shows us some great production techniques, compositional tools of the trade, and offers sound recording studio advice for anyone in a similar position – looking to add polish and serious pro-production values when up against it!
